Inorganic and Organometallic Gas Phase Ion Chemistry
This broad research area is further catagorized into the sub areas:
(a) Reactions of organosilison species;
(b) Reactions of organophosphorus species;
(c) Reactions of organosulfur species;
(d) Formation and reactivity of unusual main group species;
(e) Catalysis by transition metal oxides;
(f) Gas phase coordination chemistry of transition metal complexes;
(g) Synthesis and reactivity of organometallics;
(h) Reactivity of cluster compounds.
My PhD and postdoctoral research was centred around the areas (a)-(d). Since then, I have carried out my own independent research in this area, extending my interest in areas (b)-(d) while also developing quite new research areas in (e)-(h).
